Description

Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) is a budget-neutral option for state agencies, localities, and public schools to finance building upgrades while reducing energy use. Through EPC, public entities are able to improve their building performance, address maintenance needs, and reduce their energy consumption - all while achieving a guaranteed level of energy savings.

Join this webinar for an overview of how EPC works and to learn about the recent improvements to Virginia's program, including new legislation allowing roof repairs and replacements through EPC to make roofs solar-ready. You will also hear from Loudoun County Public Schools about their experiences using EPC to enhance their buildings and meet their capital improvement and sustainability goals. There will be a time in the end for audience Q+A.

Speakers:

  • Michael Barancewicz, Loudoun County Public Schools
  • Charlie Barksdale, Virginia Energy
  • Susan Gerson, Loudoun County Public Schools
  • Jessica Greene, Virginia Energy Efficiency Council
  • Nick Polier, Virginia Energy
